Bernard Lindaman Died Wednesday After Short Illness

Bernard Lindaman died last Wednesday at the home of his sister, Mrs. Martha Akkerman, in German township following a short illness. He had been afflicted with high blood pressure for a number of years. Two weeks ago he went to the hospital at Marshalltown for treatment. He remained there but one day and was home but four days before he died. His condition was not regarded as critical and his death was unexpected.

Funeral services were held Saturday at St. Peter's Lutheran church in German township with the local pastor, Rev. Hasse, officiating. Burial was by the side of his father and mother in the cemetery adjoining the church.

Mr. Lindaman was 47 years old. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Lindaman. He was a resident of German township all of his life.

Surviving relatives are five brothers and five sisters. The brothers are Heye, John, Jake, Will and Henry. The sisters and Mrs. Menne Buskohl, Mrs. Martha Akkerman, Mrs. Louis VanLoh, Mrs. Riebke VanLoh and Mrs. Peter Klinkenborg.
