-----------------------------------------------

Gloria Adeline Sontag, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Sontag of Detroit, Mich., was born Dec. 31, 1926, at Columbus, Ohio. She will be remembered here from her visits to her grandparents and her attendance of the Sunday school of the First German Presbyterian church whenever she came to spend a few weeks with friends and relatives. One could not help to notice her because of her sunny disposition. About two weeks ago she contracted sickness, and while at times she seemed to be on the way to recovery, yet she succumbed to the after-effects of scarlet fever Thursday, Sept. 28, 1933. She attained unto the age of six years and nine months.

She leaves to mourn her grief-stricken parents, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Menko Grimmius of Grundy Center and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Sontag of Charles City, Iowa, many other relatives and friends.

The funeral was held at Grundy Center, Oct. 1, Dr. K. J. Stratemeier officiated. Interment was made at the Grundy Center cemetery.
