Early Felix Twp. Resident Died Monday Morning

Mrs. Charles F. McCloud, who had been a resident of Felix township more than fifty years, died at her home Monday morning following an illness of more than a year. She was seriously ill but a short time.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church at Whitten Wednesday. Burial was in the Benson cemetery.

Obituary
Etta Cathrine Dighton McCloud, daughter of Byron and Susan Dighton, was born Nov. 29, 1880, near Marne in Cass county, Iowa, and died Monday, Aug. 14, 1933, at her home 1/4 mile north of Whitten in Grundy county, Iowa.

She came with her parents to Grundy county when she was a small child. Since then she has lived in the vicinity of Whitten. She was married to Riley Stanbrough May 23, 1900, and he passed away Dec. 22, 1908. On September 9, 1914, she was married to Charles F. McCloud. Besides her husband she leaves to mourn her loss two brothers, William of Bangor and Ralph of Whitten, and one half-brother, Edward, of Union. Her father, mother and brother Benjamin preceded her in death.
