Former Reinbeck Man Drowned at Rockford, Ill.

Max Meissner, 33, son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Meissner, formerly of Reinbeck, met death by drowning at the home of his sister in Rockford, Ill., last Thursday.

Surviving are his parents, one sister at Rockford, and three brothers, Herbert at Clinton, and Will and Fred at Ames.

Funeral service was held at the Gange funeral home in Reinbeck Sunday afternoon, with the Rev. George Gaide, pastor of the Methodist church, in charge. Burial was in the Reinbeck cemetery.
