Morrison Woman Found Dead In Bed Yesterday

Mrs. Hettie Quackenbush, wife of the late William Quackenbush, was found dead in her bed Tuesday morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. Dora Wallace, in Morrison. Heart failure is given as the cause. Mrs. Quackenbush had been an invalid for four yours. During the past year she was confined to her bed much of the time. She had been suffering from cancer for the past year.

Funeral services will be held in the Presbyterian church in Morrison on Thursday with the local pastor officiating. Burial will be by the side of the husband in the Grundy Center cemetery.

Mrs. Quackenbush was 55 years old. She was a lifetime resident of Grundy county. For many years, until the death of Mr. Quackenbush, the family lived on a farm north of Morrison. Jonas Shafstahl, her only brother, resides in Morrison.
