Jens G. Thuesen Dead

Jens J. Thuesen, who had been confined in the detention hospital near Waterloo, suffering from spinal meningitis for six weeks, died Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock. He underwent a blood transfusion Saturday at the St. Francis hospital and was thought to be somewhat better until he gradually began to grow weaker.

Mr. Thuesen was born Aug. 10, 1885, near Fredsville, and had lived in that vicinity practically all of his life. He leaves a wife, two daughters, Alma and Blanche, and two sons, George and Gordon, at the farm home near Fredsville. Several brothers and sisters are living in the Fredsville vicinity.

Funeral arrangements have not been made but the burial will take place in the Fredsville cemetery.
