Mrs. W. H. Draper Of Conrad Is Cancer Victim

Died at Her Home Yesterday Following a Short Illness

Mrs. W. H. Draper died at her home in Conrad yesterday morning. She had been in ill health for a number of months. Three weeks ago she submitted to an operation at Marshalltown, where it was discovered that she was afflicted with a cancer of the stomach.

Funeral services will be held at the home at Conrad Friday afternoon at two o'clock. The services will be in charge of Rev. Krotzer, pastor of the Conrad Presbyterian church.

Mrs. Draper's maiden name was Dora Osborne. She was born at Tama and resided there during her early years. Since her marriage she lived continually in Conrad, where she was widely known and highly esteemed.

Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, George, of Peoria, and Horace, of Loda, Ill., five sisters, Mrs. George Cody, Lake City, Mrs. Clarence Berry, Clinton, Mrs. Lyle Loverin, Mrs. Charles Axtell, and Miss Julia Ausborne, all of Conrad, and her aged mother, Mrs. Doris Ausborne, who has made her home with Mrs. Draper.
