Early German Twp. Resident Cancer Victim

Dick DeNeui Died at His Home In Wellsburg Monday Evening

Dick DeNeui, a lifelong resident of northwest Grundy, died at his home Monday evening following an illness from cancer for a period of six months.

Mr. DeNeui was born in German township, Grundy county, 57 years ago and made his home in the county continually during his lifetime. He resided on his own farm in German township until three years ago when he moved to Wellsburg.

Funeral services will be held at the home in Wellsburg this afternoon and later at the Christian Reformed church. Rev. Boeve, the local pastor, will have charge of the services. Burial will be by the side of the wife in the cemetery at the Engelke church in German township. The wife died sixteen years ago.

Mr. DeNeui is survived by nine children, five sons and four daughters. The sons are Sander, Henry, Noble, Lee and Dick. The daughters are Mrs. Henry Anderson, Mrs. Wessel Buskohl, Mrs. Ford Eberline and Lucile, who has been keeping house for her father. is being fenced off from the Hostetter [sic] Martin and Bert of Wellsburg. There is one sister, Mrs. Christ Kuper, from Lennox, South Dakota.
