Henry Dirks, Reinbeck, Victim of Pneumonia

The funeral services for Henry Dirks, Reinbeck, who died at his home last Wednesday after a brief illness with pneumonia, were held from the Methodist church at Reinbeck Friday afternoon.

Mr. Dirks was born in Reinbeck Nov. 30, 1892, and lived there all his life. He was in the service during the World War, failing to get overseas and spending most of his time in service at Camp Foster, Georgia. He was a member of Action Post, American Legion.

He never married and made his home with his aged mother, who survives him, as well as three brothers and two sisters. These are John, Alfred and Albert Dirks, and Mrs. H. B. Lauterbach, of Reinbeck, and Mrs. Ben Lauterbach, Jr., of Lincoln.
