Young Girl Dies Suddenly

Miss Marie Grimius died about 8 o'clock Tuesday morning at the home of her father north of town. She has been sick only a few days with pneumonia. She had been working for the Heiberger family. Thursday she complained of not feeling well but her condition was not considered serious until Sunday when a doctor was called. At the time her temperature was above 103. She was taken to her home Sunday evening and her condition continued to get worse until the end came.

Marie Grimius was eighteen years old a few weeks ago. She moved here with her parents when she was a little girl, and has resided here ever since. Her mother died four years ago leaving a family of several small children of which Marie was the oldest of the girls. She assumed the duties of the household and she served as mother to the younger children.

Funeral services conducted by Rev. Dilman Smith are being held at the Methodist church in this city this afternoon.
