Death Of A Grundy Pioneer

Paul Ostercamp died at the home of Jacob Wilts in Pleasant Valley Township Saturday evening. Old age and general debility was the cause of this death. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Heinrichs were held at the Lutheran church in Shiloh township Wednesday.

Mr. Ostercamp was in his eightieth year. He was a native of Eastfriesland Germany and came to this county about thirty-five years ago. For thirty years he worked for Henry DeVries. Mr. Ostercamp was twice married. His first wife died some eighteen years ago. One child came to this union. The child died while yet young. Mr. Ostercamp was married a second time about fifteen years ago and this wife survives him.
