William Conrad Brown, 71, of Reinbeck, died on Monday, April 6, 2015, at the Grundy Care Center in Grundy Center, Iowa. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am, on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at French-Hand Funeral Home in Reinbeck, Iowa. Burial will follow at the Reinbeck Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.

William was born August 20, 1943, in Waterloo, Iowa, son of Wayne and Velma (Juhl) Brown. He attended Reinbeck Schools.

In 1969 William was united in marriage to Sally Stephenson they later divorced. To this union were born children, Sheri, Lori and Billie Jo. Bill was employed by Pioneer Hi-Bred for over 30 years retiring in 1998.

William enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his children; Sheri Ann Batley of Mobile AL, Lori Jean Brown of St. Stephens, AL and Billie Jo Brown of McDavid, FL; three grandchildren, Abigail Brown, Emily Brown and Conagher Batley; sister Jeanne (Eldie) Hoeppner of Reinbeck; sister-in-law Janet Brown; and many nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald.
