Raymond Schultz Dies at Hospital
Raymond Arthur Schultz, son of Mrs. Fern Schultz and of the late Elmer L. Schultz, passed away at the Deaconess hospital at Marshalltown, November 22, 1930, after an illness of about a week. He had reached the age of 7 years, 1 month and 19 days.
Raymond was born near Conrad, Iowa, Oct. 3, 1923, and has lived here ever since. He was a bright lovable little boy, well liked by all with whom he came in contact. He was a member of the primary class of the public schools of Conrad and attended Sunday School at the Methodist Episcopal church.
Besides his mother he is survived by two brothers, Thomas and William, and five sisters, Wilma, Marietta, Edna, Margery, and Lois Jean. He also leaves to mourn his loss his grandmother, Mrs. Mary Schultz, a number of uncles and aunts, and a host of other relatives and friends. May the God of all grace, comfort and sustain those who mourn, for he has promised "to give beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness."
Funeral services were held from the house at 1:30 and from the church at 2:00. Burial was made in the Conrad cemetery.
