Clark Brown, a farmer living about five miles east of Dike, died in a hospital at 10 a.m. Saturday following an illness of about two years with Hodgkins' disease.
Funeral services will be held at Cedar Falls at 9 a.m., Tuesday, in charge of Dr. F. C. Witigmund of Cedar Falls and burial will be at Conrad, Iowa.
Mr. Brown was born in Grundy county, Sept. 29, 1875, and was married to Miss Blanche Longnecker in 1902 in Grundy.
Surviving are the widow, two brothers, Frank and L. J. of Marshalltown, two sisters, Mrs. K. W. McKluskey of Hollywood, California, and Mrs. Gus Bieich, Norfolk, Neb., and one foster son, L. K. Haynes of Cedar Falls. Mr. Brown was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.
