Dies Suddenly from Heart Failure

Mrs. George Staples died very suddenly Sunday forenoon from heart failure. She had been making her home the past year with Mr. and Mrs. Ed. French in Grundy Center. She had been in fairly good health of late and Sunday was feeling apparently as well as usual. She went to her room to make up her bed, sat down in a chair and died within a few moments.

Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday afternoon. Burial was by the side of the husband in the Grundy Center cemetery.

Mrs. Staples was 78 years old the 16th of last month. She and her husband came to Grundy Center about eight years ago. The husband died a year ago last winter.

There is one surviving son whose home is in Washington state. Following her husband's death, Mrs. Staples went west with her son, but returned here about a year ago and has remained here continually.
