Death Takes Conrad Woman

Mrs. J. S. Hanna passed away at her home in Conrad last Wednesday.

Mrs. Hanna had been in poor health during the past year. In hopes that relief from her ailment might be obtained, she submitted to an operation at a Marshalltown hospital two months ago. The operation brought no relief and the patient continued to get weaker until the end came.

Mrs. Hanna lived at Conrad during all of her active lifetime. She took an active part in local lodge and social work and for many years gave efficient service as assistant postmistress.

Mrs. Hanna was 54 years old. She is survived by her husband, by her son, Capt. Lloyd Hanna, of Lafayette Ind., and by her daughter, Mrs. Wilma Eggleston, of Conrad.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church at Conrad Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock and the services were very largely attended.
