Death Takes Conrad Woman

Mrs. J. L. Stover passed away in a hospital at Oskaloosa.

Mrs. Stover, who was 55 years old, suffered a stroke of paralysis last spring following a long siege of influenza. During the summer she seemed to be regaining her former health. Two weeks before her death she began to show signs of a relapse. The day before her death she suffered a second stroke from which she was not able to rally.

Mrs. Stover was a long time resident of the Conrad community and she was held in high esteem by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, three sons and one daughter. The daughter is Mrs. Bernice Clarke of Cedar Falls. The sons are Herbert, Eugene and Melvin, all of whom reside at Conrad. Funeral services were held at Conrad Friday.
