Dick Eekhoff Dead

Dick Eekhoff, several years in the employ of the Illinois Central railroad as a section hand, at Austinville, died in the company's Chicago hospital the latter part of the week. Funeral services were held at the German Presbyterian church, two miles southeast of Ackley, the services conducted by Rev. Johnson, pastor of the church. He is survived by his wife and five children. He was along in the fifties. The deceased was a nephew of Mrs. H. G. Geerdes.
