Tamma Dreesman died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ben P. Heronimus, on August 27th from old age. He was 81 years and 3 days old at the time of his death.

Mr. Dreesman was born in Mohlwarf, Ostfriesland, Germany, August 24th, 1847. He came to this country and to this county thirty-seven years ago. During the first sixteen years that they resided in this county the family lived on a farm in Colfax township. Mr. Dreesman's wife died twenty years ago. In late years the deceased made his home with his children.

Mr. Dreesman was the father of ten children, six of whom are still living. The living children are Manne Dreesman from Butler county, Dick D., Mrs. Deddo Meyer, Mrs. Heye Heronimus, Tom and Mrs. Ben P. Heronimus, all from Grundy county.
