Conrad Man Dies at Iowa Falls

The funeral services for Clifford LeRoy Frederick, who died at his home in Iowa Falls Friday after a short illness of pneumonia, were held at Conrad Sunday at 2:30. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Frederick and was born at Ft. Dodge, Feb. 16, 1893. When 8 years old, he moved to Conrad which was his home until 1915.

He was united in marriage to Miss Ilina Good in 1913 and to this union were born two children, Gleo, who is a junior in high school, and Darrell, a sophomore, who together with the mother, Mrs. Mayme Frederick, and one brother, Ben, of Conrad, survive, besides a host of relatives and friends.

Mr. Frederick had been engaged in the pool hall business in Iowa Falls for the past six years.

Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church in Conrad, Rev. M. E. Krotzer officiating. Interment was made in the Conrad cemetery.

A quartet composed of Mrs. G. R. Gould, Judd Wheeler, Mrs. Elsie Smith and Wayne Barley sang "God Have Thy Way," and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere."

Those who attended the funeral from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Stout and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Long, Silver City, Iowa; Mr. Chas. Colgan and two daughters and his mother, Mrs. Anna Colgan, Clear Lake; Mr. and Mrs. George Day and Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Day, Sheffield; Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Hilkers, Hubbard.
