Obituary Fred C. Brandhorst

Fred C. Brandhorst, 27 years old, died at his home in Waterloo at 3 p.m. Sunday of last week of pneumonia He had been ill since the preceding Wednesday. He was employed by the John Deere Tractor Co.

Funeral services were held at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest C. Brandhorst, in Reinbeck Wednesday at 2 p.m. and at 2:30 o'clock in the Congregation church, Rev. Ludwig Emigholtz officiating. Burial was at Reinbeck.

Fred C. Brandhorst was born Jan. 19, 1903, on a farm near Hudson and moved to Waterloo in June, 1929, from Reinbeck, when he was married to Miss Nina Welch, of Reinbeck.

Surviving besides his widow are one sister, Mrs. Jurgen Thiel, and three brothers, Henry, of Hudson, and Edward and John of Reinbeck.
