Arthur Larsen Died Sunday

Arthur Larsen, age 60 died at the Schoitz hospital in Waterloo Sunday night at 9 o'clock following a heart attack on Thursday. He had been ill since early summer.

Mr. Larsen was born March 5, 1890, in the Fredsville vicinity, son of Frank and Mary Larsen. On Nov. 5, 1909 he was married to Miss Tillie Lausen. They farmed in the Dike vicinity and near Dougherty until retiring about 3 years ago and moved to Dike.

He leaves besides his widow, his mother age 82, three children, Mrs. Harold Morgensen and Herbert Larsen of near Cedar Falls, and Glenn Larsen of Iowa City, also six grandchildren. His father and three brothers preceded him. He was a member of the Fredsville Lutheran church. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 at the Dahl Funeral Home in Cedar Falls and 2 at the Fredsville Lutheran church, with Rev. Holger Nielsen of Cedar Falls officiating. Burial was at Fredsville.
