Emil H. Reimers
Emil H. Reimers, 1637 C avenue NW, an employee of Cherry-Burrell Corporation for many years until his retirement in July, 1938, died at his home at 3:30 a.m. Monday following a long illness. Born May 29, 1875, at Davenport, he had lived in Cedar Rapids for the last 30 years.
His wife, Merretta, is the only survivor.
He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian church.
Services will be conducted in the Turner chapel at 1 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. D. Keith Irwin. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon in the cemetery at Morrison. Friends may call at the chapel.

E. H. Reimers, Former Morrison Banker, Dies
E. H. Reimers, who for a number of years, was manager of the Farmers Elevator at Morrison, and who later became manager of the Morrison bank, died at Cedar Rapids last Sunday, following an illness of several years. He left Grundy county about 30 years ago and since that time he and his wife resided in Cedar Rapids.
The body was sent to Morrison for burial. Funeral services and burial were at Morrison Wednesday afternoon.
Surviving is the wife, the former Etta Coffman from Morrison.
