Old Conrad Resident Dies at Hospital

Mrs. Dan O'Connor died at St. Thomas hospital at Marshalltown shortly after noon last Friday. She had been in poor health during the past three or four years and the past two months she was at the Marshalltown hospital in the hopes that her fast failing health might be restored. Her remains were taken to the home at Conrad. Funeral services were held at the Catholic church in Grundy Center Monday forenoon. Rev. Father P. J. Boyle officiated at the service. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery in this city.

Mrs. O'Connor was past seventy years of age. She had been a long time resident of Grundy county and since retiring from the farm the family had lived in Conrad. She is survived by her husband, two sons and four daughters. One son, James, resides at Conrad, Andrew lives at Liscomb. One daughter, Mrs. Reinhart, resides at Waterloo. Mrs. Omer Baker lives at Conrad. The other two daughters, who are also married, live at Duluth. All the children were in attendance at the funeral.
