Aged Woman Dead

Mrs. W. A. Strickler, aged 86 years, died at her home in Eldora Sunday morning, death being due to infirmities of age. She had been sick for a number of weeks. Mrs. Strickler was born near Chambersburg, Pa., the family moving to Illinois and later moving to Iowa in 1867, being pioneer residents of Grundy county. Mr. Strickler died nine years ago. Mrs. Strickler is survived by three sons and two daughters. The children are Harvey Strickler, of Euclid, Minn.; Frank Strickler, of Buffalo, N. Y.; Russell Strickler, of Eldora; Mrs. Cora Lau of Grundy county, and Mrs. Lewis Freerksen, east of Eldora.
