The family moved to Forreston, Ill., where they resided for many years. At this place the deceased was married to Jacob Kiewiet on August 29th, 1877.
Thirty four years ago the Kiewiet family moved to Grundy county. They bought a farm in Colfax township and Mr. and Mrs. Kiewiet made their home there until they moved to Holland about six years ago.
