H. Terbeck Dies at Old Age

Heiko Terbeck died Saturday night at his home in this city. He was sick but two days with a serious attack of the flu. He had been a sufferer for two years from asthma.

Funeral services conducted by Rev. Sinning were held at the German Presbyterian church in this city Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased would have been 84 years old on his next birthday. He was born at Campen, Germany, 83 years, 11 months and 17 days ago. He was married in the country of his birth in 1871. His wife died two years ago. In 1890 the family came to this country. They lived two years in Illinois, after which they came to Grundy county and they lived here continually up to the time of their death. Their earlier years were spent on a farm in this county. They moved to town twelve years ago.

Mr. and Mrs. Terbeck were the parents of four children. Two of these died in infancy. The surviving children are Mrs. John Kuhlman, of Grundy Center, and Herman Terbeck, of Floyd county.
