Mrs. Ed Sweerin Dead
Mrs. Ed Sweerin died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Jake DeVoogd Friday forenoon. She had been in poor health for three months. She got an attack of influenza and this hastened the end.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Monday afternoon. The services were in charge of the local pastor, Rev. Winslow.
The deceased's maiden name was Emma DeVoogd. She was born in Grundy Center in March, 1906. She was married to Ed Sweerin in July, 1924. She made her home continually in Grundy Center. She is survived by her mother, six brothers and five sisters.
