Walter Franklin Passes Away

Walter Franklin, one of Reinbeck's well-known citizens, passed away Wednesday night at about 11 o'clock at his home there.

Mr. Franklin had been in poor health for several weeks suffering with kidney trouble. He recently contracted the "flu" which later developed into pneumonia and his weakened condition could not withstand the drain upon it.

Funeral arrangements have not been announced at this writing, as word is being awaited from relatives in the East.

Mr. Franklin was well known to many Grundy Center people and a couple of years ago he conducted an eating house in this city.
