Mrs. Frank Artz Answers Final Summons And Funeral Held Sunday

Eska R. Schnebley, daughter of I. R. and Emma Schnebly, was born in Beaman, Iowa, on September 28, 1890, and died at her home in Beaman on January 29, 1926, aged 35 years, 4 months and 1 day. She was one of a family of five children, one boy and four girls. The brother, Jacob, and sister, Myra, with her mother have preceded her in death.

In 1911 she was married to George Ross Elliott, of Beaman. To them was born a son, Justin. The husband died on December 17, 1918. On September 17, 1921, she was united in marriage to M. A. Artz, of Beaman. To this union was born a daughter, Margaret Ann.

She is survived by her husband and two children, her father, two sisters, Mrs. Edith Miller, of Beaman, and Mrs. Katie Carver of Muscatine, Iowa, besides nephews and nieces and other near relatives.

On Sept. 23, 1906, she joined the Methodist church of Beaman, of which she was still a member at the time of her death. She was a dutiful wife and loving mother, a loyal friend and cheerful associate. Besides her relatives she will be mourned by a large number of friends.

Funeral services were held from the home on Sunday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. J. J. Snyder. Mrs. T. L. Evans and Mrs. E. G. Elliott cared for the flowers. The pallbearers were E. G and Fred Elliot, Ben and Chas. Rowe, T. L. Evans and Harry Wilson. Interment was made in Oakland cemetery.
