Relatives here received a message a week ago announcing the death of Mrs. Annie Kruger at her home in Missouri. She was afflicted with diabetes for about a year before her death. Mrs. Kruger's maiden name was Annie Huisman. She was born on the Huisman farm north of Wellsburg and resided here until about thirty-five years ago. The family moved from here to Lennox where they resided most of the time since they left this locality. Later they moved to Missouri where Mr. Kruger died two years ago. He was buried at Lennox and the wife's remains were sent to that place and laid to rest by the side of the husband. Mrs. Kruger's immediate surviving family consists of seven children, all of whom have grown to maturity. Relatives from here who attended the funeral at Lennox last Thursday were J. B. and Jerry Huisman, the two brothers, and Mr. and Mrs. John Tjaden. Mrs. Tjaden is a sister of the deceased. Mr. and Mrs. Tjaden and Jerry Huisman returned Saturday evening. J. B. will remain a week longer during which time he will visit at the home of his brother, Harm, at Bridgewater, S.D.
