Sudden Death From Apoplexy

Claas Fredericksen, who lived three and a half miles northwest of Gladbrook, died very suddenly at his home last Friday forenoon from apoplexy. Late in the forenoon he complained of a headache and told members of his family that he was going upstairs to lie down. An hour later when he was called for dinner he was found dead in his bed.

Mr. Fredericksen was 57 years old. He had been a resident of the Gladbrook and Reinbeck neighborhood for twenty-five years. His wife died a year ago last November.

Funeral services were held at Reinbeck Monday afternoon where interment was made by the side of the wife.
