Vernon Richard Saint was born Feb. 23, 1920, in Whitten and died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Saint at this place Jan. 14, 1925, aged 4 years, 10 mo. and 21 days. He leaves to mourn his loss his parents, 6 brothers and 2 sisters, Leland, Lyle, Erwyn, Garth, Charley, Woodrow, Arlene and Doris. A rosebud has been plucked from the home only to burst into full bloom in that happy home awaiting him, where there will be no sin, sorrow nor death to mar his happy disposition.

The funeral services were held at the Christian church Friday at 2 p.m. Rev. Edwin Hignett officiated. Interment was at the Benson cemetery. Relatives from a distance were the Elwyn Gould family and Mr. and Mrs. Danie Moore of Marshalltown, Mr. Dick Johnson and Mr. James Gould, of Liscomb.
