Death of Ford Child

Loyal Norman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ford, living south of the fair grounds, passed away about 9 o'clock Monday evening at a Waterloo hospital following an operation on Friday previous for a ruptured appendix caused by appendicitis.

The boy first complained last week Tuesday, but the nature of his ailment was not determined for a few days following and Friday morning he was taken to Waterloo for an operation.

Loyal was born at Winnipeg, Canada, April 23, 1918, and died Nov. 10, 1924, aged 6 years, 6 months and 17 days.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the First Baptist church of this city, Rev. D. Alexander officiating.
