Grundy Boy Dies From Gunshot

Lyman, Son Of Herman Willer, Of Reinbeck, Dead From Fatal Gunshot Wound

Lyman Willer, 23, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Willer, living near Reinbeck, and former residents of Washington township, was fatally shot the first of the week according to a telegram received by the father Tuesday.

It was supposed by the relatives that the young man was in the south until the telegram came from some point in Delaware to the effect that he was shot and killed. No other particulars are known at this writing. The body will be brought to Reinbeck for burial.

The young man was born in this county and was a nephew of Mrs. Barney Franz, of this place. It is expected the remains will reach Reinbeck Friday evening and the funeral will probably be held Sunday.

Young Willer was in the U.S. Army when killed.
