Blood Poison Kills Dike Man

Peter A. Johnson, Father of Large Family, Dies Sunday

Peter A. Johnson, living one mile east of Dike, died Sunday morning from lockjaw resulting from blood poisoning. The case of blood poison developed two weeks before his death.

Mr. Johnson is survived by a wife and eight young children. His mother also survives him. She has also been in poor health and the shock resulting from the sudden death of her son has left her in a serious condition.

Funeral services are being held at the church at Fredsville this afternoon. The sympathy of all who know the Johnson family is with them in their great bereavement.
