She was married to J. W. Brewer on April 29th, 1887, and to this union eight children were born. They are Glenn, of Cincinnati, Ohio; Lee, Omaha; Morris, Malcolm, Iowa; Ben, Everly, Iowa; Howard, at home; Mrs. Jack Price, Leon, Kan.; Mrs. Jack Stough, Rosholt, So. Dak. Having made her home nearly all her life in Iowa, she moved to Pittsburg, Kansas, about three months ago in the hopes of benefiting her health. She passed away there Sunday morning, Feb. 24th, 1924, aged 56 years, 7 months and 27 days.

Her second marriage was to John Martin, at Lynn Grove, Iowa, in 1911.

She leaves to mourn her loss besides her husband, her mother, Mrs. D. A. Palmer, two brothers, Fred, of Mitchell, So. Dak., and Walter, of Fort Dodge; also the children mentioned above and eight grandchildren.

The remains were brought here accompanied by her brother, Walter, and son, Ben. The husband was unable to accompany them. All the children except Glenn are here for the funeral, which takes place at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Martz this (Thursday) afternoon at 2:30, Rev. Geo. Woodall officiating. Burial will be beside her father in the Clark cemetery.
