Clarence W. Crum, 75, of Arcadia died on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Lake Winona Manor in Winona, MN. Clarence was born on August 18, 1938, in Des Moines, Iowa to Chester C. and Lola B. (Steelsmith) Crum.
Clarence graduated from Winona Senior High School and Winona State University. His first interest was in theater and speech. He returned to graduate work in library science and audio visual studies and continued at Arcadia High School in that field. Audio visual equipment morphed into our current computer age and Clarence found a new interest. He supported his beloved Raiders at all the sporting events. For 46 years Clarence became a permanent fixture at Arcadia High School and in Arcadia. Clarence was always there to help others, especially his former students.
Clarence is survived by two nieces: Elizabeth Crum and Kathleen Crum of Winona; great nephew, Walker Crum of Winona; sister-in-law, Theresa Crum of Winona; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Pat and Daniel.
