J. M. Whorrall, for many years a resident of this community, but later of Gladbrook, passed away at his home in that place Friday, after several weeks of illness. The remains were laid to rest in Oakland cemetery here beside three little sons, who died many years ago. He is survived by his wife, three daughters and two sons. They are: Miss Josie, at home, Mrs. George Ashton and Chas. Whorrall, of this place, and Mrs. Arthur Wiese and Lawrence Whorrall of Gladbrook. One brother, James, of Conrad, also survives.
