Death of Young German Twp. Farmer
Herman Oelman died at his home in German township on the 11th, and he was buried in the Engelke church cemetery last Thursday. The funeral services were conducted by the local pastor, Rev. Engelke, and they were very largely attended.
Mr. Oelman's death was the result of kidney trouble, from which he was a sufferer for many months. He was born in German township thirty-one years ago and lived there all of his life. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Oelman, old residents of German township. He was married seven years ago to Miss Mabel Trepp. The surviving relatives are the wife, the father and mother, four brothers and three sisters.
Mr. Oelman was a thrifty young farmer. He was known by everyone in the northwest portion of the county and he had the respect and good will of everyone. The sympathy of the community are with the surviving relatives.
