Mrs. Juhl Dead

Mrs. James M. Juhl died at her home in Dike on December 11th, after an illness of covering a period of several months. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Stockholm were held at Fredsville on Friday afternoon.

Mrs. Juhl is survived by her husband, two children, and her father and mother, besides two sisters and one brother.

Mrs. Juhl Obituary

Helen Luella Grunnet was born in Chicago on June 15, 1900, and died at her home in Dike on Tuesday, December 11, 1923, aged 23 years, 5 months and 27 days. Her mother died when she was nine years old, in Denmark, where the family had moved.

Returning to this country, she came to Dike with her father in 1915 and had since made this place her home. She was married to James M. Juhl in 1919. To this union two children were born, Leonard and Verla, who will miss the mother's love and care.

She leaves to mourn her untimely death besides the husband and two small children, her father, a brother and two sisters, Mrs. John Damagaard of Edgewater, Colorado, and Mrs. Howard Mullen, of this place.

The funeral services were held at Fredsville church on Friday, Dec. 14, conducted by Rev. Stockholm, and interment was made in the cemetery adjoining the church.

The members of Grant Rebekah lodge, of which the deceased was a member, attended the services in a body.
