Old Settler Called

Friends at Dike have been advised of the death of Mrs. Fred Gauger, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. L. Zeilinger, 102 Linwood Ave., Waterloo. She was ill for only a short time, death following shortly after a stroke of apoplexy.

She had lived on a farm near Dike from 1870 until ten years ago, when she went to live with her daughter.

Mrs. Gauger was a member of St. John's Lutheran church at Cedar Falls. Funeral services will be held Thursday at Cedar Falls.
