Child of M. Meinders Breaks Neck in Fall While at Play Saturday

Last Saturday afternoon the eldest child of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Meinders, living one and a half miles south and one-half mile west of Dike, a boy of six years, was playing with other children about an old grader in the yard and in some manner fell from the machine, striking the ground with sufficient force to break its neck and death was instantaneous, or at least the child was dead when found by the mother shortly after the accident.

The funeral was held from the Reformed church of Lincoln Center, Tuesday afternoon, and burial was in the cemetery adjoining the church.
