Services Fri. For Mrs. John Sheller

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon for Mrs. John Sheller at the Ivester church. The service was conducted by Rev. Charles A. Albin. Burial was in the Sheller cemetery.

Mrs. Sheller died quite suddenly in the Grundy hospital following a heart attack at her home last Tuesday night. She was 69 years old last December.

Music at the service was by Russell Kruse and Lois Moats. The pallbearers were Harold Hogle, Clarence Hogle, Glen Button, Fred Draper, Glenn Moats and Edgar Moats.

Obituary
Alice Myrtle Schwab Sheller, the daughter of Charles and Edyth George Schwab, was born in Melrose township, Grundy county, on December 13, 1895, and passed away at the Grundy Co. Memorial Hospital on April 1, 1964, following a heart attack.

She was married on Jan. 20, 1916, to John Sheller. Her entire life was spent in the Ivester community. She was a member of the Ivester Church of the Brethren and was active and interested in all community and church life.

Surviving are the husband, John, and three children: a daughter, Jean, and her husband Homer L. McDonough, Grinnell; a son, Howard, and wife Katherine of Eldora; and another son, Gerald, and wife Alice of Corpus Christi, Texas. She also leaves 8 grandchildren, Marvel, Wanda and Virgil McDonough of Grinnell, Dean, Nancy and Donald Sheller of Eldora, and Debbie and Becky Sheller of Corpus Christi, Texas, one sister Ruth (Mrs. Glen Sheller) of Eldora, and many relatives and friends.
