George Lungquist, 25, Victim of Cancer

George Lungquist, 25, died Sunday at 10 a.m. at Morgantown, West Virginia. Survivors include his wife the former Judy Graham of Conrad and his parents at Lone Tree.

He was a native of Lone Tree, attended Iowa Wesleyan College at Mt. Pleasant, was a coach at Dallas Center for several years and did graduate work at Drake University.

Mr. Lungquist was at West Virginia University on a scholarship. He entered school in September and had since suffered from cancer.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Conrad Methodist church with burial in the Conrad cemetery. The Johnston funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
