Walter W. Reynolds, Sr.

Funeral services tentatively are set for Thursday for Walter Wayne Reynolds Sr., 67, of 3220 W. 4th St., who died of a heart attack at his home about 5 a.m. Tuesday.

Mr. Reynolds was born Sept. 23, 1896, at Whitten, the son of Alfred and Agnes Newell Reynolds. He married Mabel Rosenberger on June 11, 1916, at Marshalltown. They lived near Conrad until 1941 when they moved to Waterloo.

He was employed by the Rath Packing Co. for 25 years until his retirement in 1961. He was a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are his widow, at home; a son, W. Wayne Reynolds, Jr., of 1220 Hammond Ave.; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Minnich, of Conrad; a sister, Miss Mae Reynolds, of Des Moines; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends who wish may contribute to a Westminster Presbyterian Church Memorial fund. Friends may call at the Parrott & Wood Funeral Home after noon Wednesday.
