Services Last Tuesday For Emma Thompson

Services were held at the funeral home in Eldora last Tuesday for Mrs. Emma Thompson, who died at the Eldora hospital on Dec. 26th. She was 75 years old.

Mrs. Thompson's maiden name was Emma Nichols, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nichols. She was born near Wellsburg, February 19, 1888. In 1924 she was married to Charles Thompson, who preceded her in death. The past 50 years she was a resident of Eldora. She taught a rural school in the Eldora area for 17 years. Her husband died five years ago. Since that time she made her home with her sister, Mrs. Hazel Schultz, at Eldora.
