Lillie Aswegan Dies In Hospital

Miss Lillie Aswegan died at 10:30 Monday p.m. at the Grundy hospital. Death was due to Lateral Sclerosis. She had been a patient in the hospital since Oct. 3.

The body was taken to the Engelkes Funeral Home in Grundy Center where arrangements were made. Services will be at 1:30 Thursday at the Methodist church in Dike. Rev. Crum will officiate at the service.

She was 45 years old. She was a daughter of Henry and the late Mrs. Henry Aswegan. She was born in Beaver township April 15, 1918. In late years she had been doing housework and caring for elderly people.

Surviving are her father, Henry C. Aswegan, Reinbeck, a sister Mrs. Edna Sebekow, Reinbeck; 2 brothers, Edward, Grundy Center, and Elmer, Waterloo. Her mother died in 1950.
