Services At Stout For Harry Wiltfang
Harry Wiltfang, son of William and Gertie Konken Wiltfang, was born in Beaver township, Grundy county on January 16, 1875. He was united in marriage on February 27, 1902 at the Pleasant Valley Reformed church to Miss Hattie Walterman. They farmed in Beaver township for a number of years and then moved to a farm in Pleasant Valley township where Mr. Wiltfang farmed for 37 years until he retired and moved to Parkersburg seven years ago. He was a member of the Stout Reformed church.
He passed away at the home in Parkersburg on Saturday morning, June 13th, following a brief illness. He attained the age of 89 years, four months and 27 days.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, one son, one grandson, three brothers and one sister.
Surviving are two daughters, Kate Wiltfang, Parkersburg and Mrs. Fritz Hulseman of Dike, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two sisters, Miss Fannie Wiltfang and Mrs. Elsie Lyons both of Parkersburg.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon, June 16th at the Stout Reformed Church with Rev. J. M. Hoekstra officiating. Interment was made in the Stout cemetery.
