Walter Wulf Rites Held On Saturday
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 at St. John's Lutheran church at Reinbeck for Walter F. Wulf who passed away last Wednesday at Independence of a lingering illness. Interment was made in the cemetery at Reinbeck.
He was born August 17, 1897 in Reinbeck, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louie Wulf. He was baptised and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and a member of St. John's Lutheran church where he held various offices for many years.
On August 24, 1922 he was married to Anna Peters. The couple made their home in Reinbeck where he was a building contractor for many years until he became ill in 1958.
Survivors are his wife, and one son Virgil and a granddaughter of Reinbeck, also four sisters, Mrs. Emma Lewis of Reinbeck; Mrs. Augusta Lutterman and Mrs. W. W. Ross of Wellsburg and Miss Mathilda Wulf of Des Moines; three brothers, August Wulf of Lead, S.D.; William Wulf of Wellsburg and Emil Wulf of Rapid City, S.D.
Preceding the deceased in death were his parents and one brother, Louie.
